Conical Shape, Type 1, PTFE Key
Used to separate a mixture of immiscible liquids.
Type 1 (Conical) and Type 2 (Pear) Separating Funnels are broadly used interchangeably. However, the Type 1 Conical shape is especially useful when the mixed solvents are dark in colour: the narrower width makes the interface easier to see.
