Distillate Receivers

Manufactured in borosilicate glass.

Usage Guide

A distillate receiver is used to measure the volume of liquid collected from a distillation.

  • Crow Receivers have a tapered section at the base to measure small volumes of liquid. They are ideal for the collection of distillate in oil and tar tests.
  • Cylindrical Receivers are similar to a standard measuring cylinder but with graduations below 10ml for measuring smaller volumes.

Both types of receiver are available in Class A or Class B. Class A receivers are calibrated to half the tolerance of Class B cylinders and each has a unique serial number for traceability. A certificate of accuracy traceable to national standards can be provided if required. Class A receivers are used in analytical labs, quantitative labs and other controlled environments.
