Usage Guide

Sugar flasks are used for the analysis of sugars.

  • Type 1 (two-mark) flasks are used for the analysis of sugar factory juices.
  • Type 2 (single-mark) flasks are more accurately calibrated and used for measuring the polarisation of a sugar solution.

Sugar flasks have a high volume above the graduation mark to allow for adequate mixing of solutions.
