Used to demonstrate respiration of germinating seeds such as peas or beans. The tube is filled with 10% KOH solution which absorbs the carbon dioxide produced. The graduations indicate the percentage of air that has been used – the oxygen content of the atmosphere.

Manufactured in clear borosilicate glass with white enamel markings.
